Цели урока: развитие языковой компетенции учащихся через обобщение знаний по теме “Лондон и его достопримечательности”.

1. Социокультурный аспект – знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона;
2. Развивающий аспект – развитие способности осуществлять продуктивные и речевые действия;
3. Воспитательный аспект – воспитание уважительного отношения к иноязычной культуре;
4. Учебный аспект – совершенствование лексических навыков говорения в виде монологической и диалогической речи, развитие навыков аудирования и чтения .

1. Организационный момент.

Teacher (T): Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. I think you are ready to begin the lesson. At the lesson we’ll speak about this topic. What is it? We’ll try to guess but now let’s do the task

Fist listen to the tape recorder and repeat.

3. Речевая зарядка.

T: Did you guess the topic of our lesson? I think you did. Today we’ll speak about London’s places of interest. But it is necessary for me to understand what do you thing about these.

1. What places of interest do you know?
2. Would you like to visit London? Why?

4. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: I see. We are going to travel together. But it is necessary for us to find the places that we want to visit. Now you’ll see the sights of London But before we’ll try to guess. What is it?

1. It is the famous clock. It is real bell. You can hear its deep tone on the BBC. People say that it is a face of London.

P1: I think it is Big Ben.
T: You are right. Let’s see this place.

1. It’s the home of the British royal family in London. Outside the palace we can watch a colorful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard.

P2: I think it is Buckingham Palace.
T: You are right.

1. The buildings in which the British parliament sits.

P3: This is the Houses of Parliament.
T: You are right.

1. It is the best-known bridge. It was built in 1897. This bridge is across the Thames.

P4: It is the Tower Bridge.
T: You are right.

1. It is fine cathedral in central London. It was built by Sir Christopher Wren.

P5: It is St. Paul’s Cathedral.
T: You are right

1. It is a large gothic church. It was built in the 11 th century. Almost all kings and queens have been crowned there. Many famous British people buried there.

P6: It is Westminster Abbey.
T: You are right.

5. Развитие навыков диалогической речи .Проверка домашнего задания.

T: OK you know a lot of places in London. But we can lose our way. It will be very important for you to ask some help. If you know the way you‘ll help the person to find the way. Take these cards and translate them into English. And then show you own dialogue with your partner. You have five minutes to do it.

— Простите меня. Не могли бы вы сказать, как найти Вестминстерское Аббатство.

— О это очень просто. Вы видите Дом Парламента. Рядом с Домом Парламента вы можете увидеть Вестминстерское Аббатство.

— О спасибо большое.

— Простите меня. Я ищу Кровавую Башню. Я так хочу ее увидеть. Не могли бы вы мне сказать, где она, пожалуйста?

— О она просто напротив вас Вы не знаете ,но Кровав я Башня это часть Лондонского Тауэра.

— О спасибо большое.

— Excuse me. Could you tell me how to get to Westminster Abbey, please?

— Oh. It is very easy. Can you see this building?

You see the House of Parliament. Near the House of Parliament you can see Westminster Abbey.

— Oh. I see. Thank you very much.

— You are welcome.

— Excuse me I am looking for the Bloody Tower.

I’d like to see this place. Can you tell mу where it is, please?

— It’s just in front of you. You know but the Bloody Tower is a part of the Tower of London.

— Thank you very much.

6. Развитие навыков чтения.

T: I think we are ready to travel. But it is so pity. We have a problem. I have an interesting story about one of the magical places. But in this story there are some missing words. Help me please. You will put missing verbs from the box in the right form. Read, translate and answer the questions. (Приложение 2)

8. Обобщающий лексический тест.

London is very interesting place I think we’ll learn more information about this city in our future. And now let’s check your knowledge. Look at me you can find the paper with this test. Try to find the right answers. (Приложение 3)

ТЕХНОЛОГИЯ ГРУППОВОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ НА УРОКАХ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА

Тема урока: Достопримечательности Лондона.

Цель урока: Обобщить и систематизировать знания учащихся 7 класса по теме: «Достопримечательности Лондона».

• Активизация лексики по теме: «Достопримечательности Лондона»;
• Совершенствование знаний по теме «Страдательный залог»;
• Развитие навыков диалогической речи;
• Формирование оценочно-эмоционального отношения к миру, к культуре народа, говорящего на этом языке;
• Формирование представления о достижениях культуры в развитии общечеловеческой культуры;
• Развитие ассоциативного мышления, языковой догадки, интеллектуальных и познавательных способностей;
• Повышение интереса к изучению английского языка;
• Развитие умения достойно представлять себя и свою работу;
• Развитие умения слушать и слышать собеседника;
• Контроль и оценка знаний и умений учащихся по теме: » Достопримечательности Лондона «;
• Обучение сотрудничеству в группе.

Оборудование: Карточки с упражнением по теме «Страдательный залог», карточки по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона», компьютер, экран.

1. Организационный момент.

T: Good morning, students!

S: Good morning, teacher!

T: Glad to see you again, sit down, please! How are you today?

S: We are fine, thanks! And how are you?

T: I’m fine, thank you.

2. Речевая зарядка.

T: What` s the news?

S: I`ve got a new pencil case.

T : That`s fine! etc.

3. Определение темы урока.

Teacher: Well, look at the blackboard. There are some words, they tell us about our topic. What is our topic?

Students: Sights of London.

Teacher: Right! Let` s read the words

Do you know how to say them in Russian?

4. Работа в группах. Активизация лексического материала по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».

T: Now, let’s play the game «Agree or disagree». Split in three groups. You `ve got cards on the tables. Each of you takes the card, reads the sentence and agrees or disagrees. Repeat the statement if you agree and correct it if you disagree with it.

Учащиеся играют в игру «Согласись или не согласись» в трех группах. На столах в каждой группе находятся карточки с перевернутыми предложениями. Ученик из каждой группы по очереди вытягивает карточку, читает утверждение, а ученик из следующей группы должен согласиться с ним или опровергнуть его. Количество карточек соответствует количеству человек. Тянуть карточку и отвечать можно только один раз.

S1: London is the capital of Great Britain.

S2: I agree with you. London is the capital of Great Britain.

S3: Big Ben is in London.

S1: I agree with you. Big Ben is in London.

S2: The Queen lives in the Tower of London.

S3: I disagree with you. The Queen lives in Buckingham Palace.

5. Проверка домашнего задания. Активизация навыков диалогической речи. Работа в парах.

T: Thanks a lot. Now it’s time to check up your homework. You have prepared the dialogues about London and now you have two minutes to remember them. Your time is up. Who is ready to start?

Учащиеся повторяют диалоги из домашнего задания в течение 2 минут. Затем учитель предлагает ученикам по очереди разыграть диалоги.

6. Работа в группах. Активизация навыков чтения с полным пониманием.

T: Now look at the slide. Here in the squares you will see the descriptions of some sights in London. Choose the number and name the sights.

На экране прямоугольник с шестью окошками, каждое окошко имеет свой номер. Каждая группа дважды наугад выбирает номер. Прочитав описание достопримечательности, дает её название.

1. It is very old. It has a long and cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames. It is not just one building. Many years ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in this place (The Tower of London).
2. It stands near the Houses of Parliament. It is really a bell. It weighs 13,720 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock (Big Ben).
3. London’s largest and most famous cathedral, built by Sir Christopher Wren (St. Paul’s Cathedral).
4. They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The country’s leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them (The Houses of Parliament).
5. London residence of the Queen, the principal seat of the monarchy. (Buckingham Palace)
6. It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol of England. It was founded by St. Peter and built by King Edward in1065. Some famous people areburied there (Westminster Abbey).

T: Stand up, please. Listen to me and say after me the poem and imitate my actions.

8. Работа в группах. Совершенствование грамматических навыков по теме «Страдательный залог».

By the way, what can you tell me about the London Eye? Let` s learn more about it. You are to work in three groups.

Read the text and open the brackets, using the Passive, listen to the group3 and learn more about the London Eye. Answer group 3 questions.

The London Eye is one of the most popular attractions in London, and it (1)________ (visit) by people from all over the UK and the world. It (2)____ (design) by David Marks and Julia Barfield for a competition which (3)_________ ( organize) by a British newspaper in 1994. The newspaper (4)__________( want) a new London building to celebrate the year 2000.

The Eye is 135 meters tall and it is the largest observation wheel in the world. Up to 800

Работая над одним текстом одновременно в трех группах, но с разными заданиями, учащиеся совершенствуют свои грамматические навыки по теме «Страдательный залог», развивают навыки аудирования (слушают текст в полном варианте в третьей группе и отвечают на вопросы), а также развивают навыки монологической речи, рассказывая о том, что узнали нового о колесе обозрения. А самое главное- все это происходит при совместной работе в группах.

9. Контроль выполнения задания.

Учащиеся проверяют правильность выполнения задания и рассказывают, что нового они узнали о колесе обозрения.

10. Рефлексия и выставление оценок. Работа в группах.

T: Now let`s fill in questionnaire.Учащиеся оценивают свою работу в группе. А затем капитаны подводят итоги. Учитель комментирует оценки.
