план-конспект урока по английскому языку (5, 6 класс) по теме
Конспект урока включает в себя материал по теме «Англоговорящие страны». Учащиеся узнают, в каких странах английския язык является одним из официальных языков, столицы данных стран, названия жителей англоговорящих стран. С помощью раздаточного материала учащиеся вспомнят, где располагаются англоговорящие страны, а некоторые откроют для себя новые страны. Активизация новых и ранее изученных лексических единиц проводится с путем монологической и диалогической речи.

It’s a financial and cultural centre. It’s famous for skyscrapers and modern architecture. The Statue of Liberty and Broadway attract many visitors. What country is she from? Where does she live?
P: She is from the USA. She lives in New York.

P: About English-speaking countries.
T: You know English-speaking countries. What are they? (Name them, please)
-Why are they called English-speaking countries?
P: People speak English in them.

You also learn English. That’s why I think you should learn more facts about English-speaking countries, their geography, people, traditions.
As far as I know some of your classmates have got pen-friends in English-speaking countries. Am I right?
If you want to get some more information about these countries, listen to your friends’ stories and ask them some questions.

It consists of four parts: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The capital of the UK is London. London is the world’s seventh biggest city. In Britain you can meet people of different nationalities. Its population is above 58 mln people. The official language is English.

It is situated in the central part of the North American continent.(It stretches from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west and from Canada in the north to Mexico in the south. The capital of the USA is Washington) .The USA has the third largest population in the world. Its population is over 250 mln people. It’s a real melting pot. English is the official language in the USA. It is known as American English. The second state language is Spanish. The flag of the USA is called “Stars and Stripes”

Some Maori people lived there before the British came. The official languages are English and Maori. English spoken in New Zealand is often called Kiwi English. New Zealand is sometimes called “The World’s Biggest Farm” (It is famous for its products; butter, cheese, meat)

India is one of the biggest countries in Asia. It is washed by the Indian Ocean. More than 15 official languages are spoken in India. There are thousand of dialects. English is the main language and the only solution to their communication problems.
India consists of states and Union Territories. They are 30. The flag is green, white, and red.
The capital of India is Delhi. It consists of two parts: Old Delhi and New Delhi. New Delhi is the official capital of India. 12 million people live in Delhi. Here you can find a lot of beautiful palaces, unique museums, and galleries.
Delhi is famous for its palaces. One of them is Kutb-Minar (the Tower of Victory). It was built in the12th century. It has five floors; its high is 72 m. It is red-yellow.
Tadzh Mohall is in Agra, on the bank of the river Jammu. It is a mausoleum. It was built in 17 th century (1631-1653). It is called the monument of love.
India is the country of National parks. There are 83 National Parks. They are organized to keep the wild nature. Of course, India is famous for its elephants and white tigers.
Also India is famous for its dances and songs. There are many types of dance in India, from those which are deeply religious in content to those which are danced on more trivial happy occasions. Classical dances of India are usually always spiritual in content, although this is often true also of Folk dances. The classical dances are Kathakali and Mohini Attam from Kerala.
Where is India situated? India is situated in Asia.
How many official languages are there? There are more than 15 official languages in India.
